The route moves forward from Tamang village of Gatlang and then leads northwards to Ganesh Himal ruby valley region along the Mailung Khola. The area itself is a good choice for all the trekkers. Ganesh Himal region remains unforgettably beautiful and culturally rich. The routes are less crowded, and the people are friendly which makes the whole journey worthwhile.
Another more interesting route of the trek is from Sundarijal through the hills of Helambu over the Gosainkunda range to Syabrubesi.
